Once a year sounds right

So this year, the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee raised almost $150,000 for the humane society. Not bad, eh? Just one person with one website – and it only took about 3 weeks.  Of course, their kittens are loved by everyone from Ricky Gervais to ME.

The kitties are doing great. The fireplace came on for a short time yesterday because the house is kind of cold now. It took about 5 minutes for the kitties to remember exactly what that meant. There was some heavy duty sleeping in front of the fire for about an hour.

All is well, and I had almost forgotten this blog exists!

Going for once a year!

The IBKC FUNdraiser was a big success this year- 2014. I’m a little late in posting all this. I’m off of Facebook for the 99 Days Without Facebook thing and it is working out just fine!
The kitties have become well adjusted to me being around.
India made Cute Overload – here is her link : http://cuteoverload.com/2014/08/09/caturday-so-how-does-i-boot-this-up/#comments
It was time India got a little airspace since little Zoubisou gets most of the press.
The kitties have another blog- somehow easier because it is on blogger and I have other blogs there. I forget about wordpress until I get the bill.
Here is the other blog: http://indiaandzoubi.blogspot.com/2013/08/who-are-we.html

I am trying to decide if this little blog is going to make it.
We are in the beautiful summer in Seattle- some summers are quite awful, but this one is a keeper. Particularly with our air conditioning!

Hang in there, come back in a year. Heh!

We’re back!

Remember the old alexandlynn.com? Turns out someone in China hijacked it, and wrote stuff on it we couldn’t understand. It has never been available again. All that work. 18 years and jillions of stuff on it. No more :-(. Fortunately for me, the wayback machine could find the content but then there was nowhere to put it and now, it isn’t relevant anyway. I do miss the several hundred movie reviews. But I started anew on flickerchick.com and so it goes.

We’ve had some changes. Each of our elderly kitties died, and we moved from Bellevue to Redmond. Lots of change in a short time. We recovered by getting two new kitties, who, for a while, had their own blog. But I am so lazzzzzzzy that I never kept it up. So they will have to fit their little lives into the bigger blog. TIME for a bigger blog!
Let’s see how it goes. Maybe in a year, when I get the payment reminder from wordpress, I’ll remember I have this thing. Then I’ll go through buyer’s remorse and start all over. Sigh.
Here it goes!
